SEVEN MYTHS ABOUT WEIGHT LOSS
Myth:You can convert fat into muscle.
MYTHBUSTERS:This is not true as fat and muscle are two different kind of tissue.Yes you can firm up your muscle but fat will only disappear when you do cardio exercise.

Myth:Eating less bread is a good option.
MYTHBUSTERS:May be.The bread that we eat is made from refined flour and is very difficult to digest.However adding bran to your refined flour can be a healthy option as it is insoluble fiber which is much needed by the body.Eating whole wheat bread or brown bread is a healthy option.

Myth:You get calcium from milk,cheese and cream.
MYTHBUSTERS:True.However these products contain too much fat too.Skimmed milk is a healthy option.Stopping cheese and cream altogether will help in reducing flab.It is better to get calcium from other sources like fruits or fish.

Myth:Eating less can reduce your fat content.
MYTHBUSTERS:Not altogether.Eat to your hearts content but divide your portions into six parts and eat every 3 hours.This way the amount of glucose induced into your blood stream remains under control and pancreas get time to produce insulin which will digest the sugars released from food.

Myth:Weight training is good for reducing Fat content.
MYTHBUSTERS:Weight training grows your muscles and strengthen them.In turn these muscles burn more calories to sustain themselves which can lead to fat loss.Cardio exercises are a must to reduce fat.Walking is the best exercise.

Myth:Cycling is better than walking!
MYTHBUSTERS:Both are physical exercises which burn calories depending on the time taken.Walking exercises your whole body meanwhile cycling pays more emphasis on your legs.

Myth:Meat products can give you protein.
MYTHBUSTERS:True,but they also introduce animal fat inside your body.Humans are naturally vegetarians as the size of their intestines are long as compared to carnivorous animals.On the other hand fruits and vegetables contain simple sugars and are rich sources of vitamins.
