TANTRA-THE ART OF MENTAL WELL-BEING!

tantra art of indiaTantra Buddhism means the one who is enlightened about the art of tantra.
Tantric art originated in the region which is called India today. It was a legacy of Hindu and Buddhist art very traditional and a way of life in that period. In the 8th century AD when Mahayana Buddhism was at its peak in India and the world first university was already established at Nalanda in Eastern India. This university and many other Universities offered scholars a wealth of knowledge and encouraged them to research further on this subject. This tradition continued until the Islamic barbarians invaded India and destroyed everything.
Tantra is the concept that everything is connected, expanding and interwoven. It is the metaphor of the universe being in each of us and, in turn, each of us being in the smallest particle. Everything is Everything. The way to realize this, for each of us, is to embrace practices that offer new experiences, expansive growing and an invitation to experience the Divine. Whether that is through yoga, meditation, relationships of all kinds, consciousness, perfection in sports or business, spiritual pursuits and especially sex, we are reminded of the unity and divine presence when we do these things with spirit and excellence.
The word Tantra is Sanskrit, the sacred language of Hinduism. It derives from the root word tan, which translates as "to extend, expand, spread, continue, spin out, weave; to put forth, show, or manifest." Like the universe we inhabit, Tantra is continually expanding, spreading, and manifesting itself like a "cosmic weave," made up of different energies. We are part of this weave, as are our forefathers and foremothers, all life, and every type of energy and matter. This includes thoughts, actions, and all physical matter.
Tantra is also overstated as a sex tool.It is quite true that if you practice tantra it enhances your sexual pleasure and energy. It is because you have learned to go deep within yourself and your partner and are thus one in spirit and two in body.Tantric massage and sensual tantric touch form a basic part of tantric sexual practices.Kamasutra was designed and evaluated by a famous Tantric practitioner called Vatsyana.
